Suni Johnson, Archivist

Suni began her work with Senator Byrd’s papers in May 2005. She holds an MLIS from the Catholic University of America and an MA in History from California State University, North Ridge. Prior to joining the Byrd Center staff she served as Director of Archives and History for the Baltimore-Washington Conference of the United Methodist Church. She has extensive experience working with regional and religious archival collections. Suni is a member of the Congressional Papers Roundtable of the Society of American Archivists.
